Halloween costumes have been heavily influenced by the movie industry. Movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or even older classics like Star Wars. Star Wars has been around for over 20 years and still coming out with new. Outfits like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Yoda costumes are still sought after for they are impressive to the avid Halloweener!

So you have chosen to go with the star wars theme, that’s great as there are so many costumes to choose and yoda is one of my favorite characters as he is smart, yet young at heart. He is cute, yet exotic, yet authoritative!

We all love the sarcastic pilot and hero Hans Solo in the first trilogy. Maybe, as a guy you want to show off your manly attributes, so this costume may be the best choice for you.

For the girls, you can wear the gala dress from princess leah or her warrior outfit fighting off he stormtroopers. How about the Princess Amidalla costume? If you have long hair, you can braid it or put it up but they also have great wigs. You can be a true queen or princess for the night.

A great idea is to be the all wise Yoda. This outfit can be truly cool. The costume can be really simple with a head piece and a Jedi robe. Most online Halloween stores carry the Jedi robe and mask. You may want to get the Jedi sword. If your going out as a couple or group, Yoda goes well with Luke sky walker, the queen, other jedi nights or opposites like Darth Vader or Stormtrooper.

Dressing up as your favorite Star Wars character is truly a great and thrilling experience. Go for Yoda costumes and have your friend wear a Darth Vader outfit and act out a battle for a truly memorable experience.
