Star Wars LEGO sets are the most sought after LEGO systems created. The LEGO Group has a habit of releasing a set for a short period of time and then discontinuing that set. One of these Star Wars sets that was discontinued is Jango Fett’s Slave I 7153 system. The Slave I set and Jango Fett are both very popular so this makes this a high demand, low supply item that sells for much more than it’s MSRP.

The Slave I

One of the most wanted LEGO sets from the Star Wars theme is Jango Fett’s 7153 Slave I. The first time we saw the Slave I starship was in the original Star Wars series. The pilot was Boba Fett, the greatest bounty hunter in the region.

In the prequels we saw the Slave I starship in the second film. The pilot was Jango Fett, Boba Fett’s father. Boba Fett is really the clone of Jango Fett. Jango Fett is a bounty hunter to and known far and wide as the best during his time. He was killed in the Attack of the Clones film.

LEGO Set 7153

Of the different Star Wars LEGO sets that contain a Slave I starship the only one that contains a Jango Fett mini figure is Jango Fett’s Slave I 7153 LEGO set. This is a set that has been discontinued for quite some time and is always a hot item. It is considered a rare set.

There are only a couple of Star Wars LEGO mini figures included with the 7153 Slave I set. One is a child version of Boba Fett and the other is Jango Fett himself. The 7153 set is the only LEGO set to contain a Jango Fett mini figure adding to its demand. In the future this set should only become more desirable because of the Star Wars LEGO brand’s increased popularity.

Because of these different factors, a Jango Fett mini figure can come with a hefty price tag. It is not unusual to see a Jango Fett minifig to sell for as much as thirty dollars on its own. Thirty bucks for a small plastic mini figure!

One of the best places to find the 7153 Slave I set is on eBay. Many fans search eBay for the Slave I because there are some good opportunities to find a seller that may not know exactly what he has. This seller may sell an expensive set very cheap because of this and a saavy collector could get a really good deal.
