Many Star Wars movies have redefined how movies are supposed to be produced and watched. On the other hand, many games have been developed that expand or put light on the star wars universe.

Not all of these games are translations of the movies, some of them are based on side stories and others are based on totally new characters.

There have been many good games, but some bad ones to. Let us look at the good ones and ignore the many horrible ones that have come out.

Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II

This game reminds me of how cool the first Star Wars movie really was. Play it in cockpit mode and you will experience everything like in the movie.

The gameplay is flawless. You need to collect bronze, silver and gold medals and you can play with many different ships.

The best level is the Death Star. It is one of the early levels, but it will blow you away. You get emersed in to the game.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

A very story driven game, you play as Kyle who wants to pick up his light saber after nine years. In the beginning you do not have your light saber powers yet, instead you use a gun. After completing each level you can assign force powers to kyle his personality. There are eight powers that you can upgrade three times each.

Many weapons are available throughout the game, but there is only one you are going to play the majority of the time with and that is the light saber.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

This is an MMORPG game that is massive in its scope. The game takes place before Darth Vader. Story places a big part of the game. The story is based on option that you choose and this will impact your game forever. You will either go in the light or dark direction.

We just looked at some of the better games that came out that put Star Wars in a better light. There are a couple more, but these are the best ones.
